10 years, NKOTB, Accident

Wow 10 years ago I got hit by a truck and went flying threw a 7-11 window in Beaverton, OR!  When I still lived in Oregon I did go back in there once I believe in 2002 on 7/11/02 on their birthday.  They had free slurpees, but I don't think I even got one haha!  So life goes on in the present.  On this past Tuesday I got to see the New Kids on The Block in concert for the first time.  I don't really give a damn what people think of them cause they're rich anyway!  They do sing and sound fantastic as ever!  I'm glad they're back, but if they fade away thats ok.  At least they can say they tried to make a come back.  My favorite New Kid is Donnie and still is.  I got to touch him as he was walking along back to the stage.  During their performance they left the main stage and sang in the middle of the audience on another stage.  It was awesome and I won't forget 2008 as I saw En Vogue and the New Kids in the same year!  I'm only working two jobs now.  I'm taking it easy with life!  Happy Halloween!

Priorities

"A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove... but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child."

Finally

Today is a happy day for me.  I received a certificate to be a Certified Nursing Assistant.  Yes its only a certificate five credit course and not a 2 or 4 year degree, but its a big deal to me.  It means the freakin' world to me.  In the past I went to other colleges and stuff got in the way, but then again I didn't really know what the heck I wanted to do.  Well finally last year I did.  I plan on going back to three other community colleges to get three other certificates.  I'm really motivated to get off my ass and make something of myself.  Even with just freakin' certificates.  I want to go to other schools and be around others.  I liked my classmates in my course this year at Saint Paul College and I liked going there too.  Now its time to attend others and take other programs.  I'm gonna do something in the spring term and take off fall so I can travel on a big freakin' ship!  In Minnesota spring term starts in January for community colleges, so I will be studying it up again next year peace!

Update and other stuff

Its spring, but still cold here.  That will go away next month or in May.  Well I’ve decided not to move back to Oregon.  People here in Minnesota appreciate me.  I’m not saying that people didn’t in Oregon, but here I’m comfortable and happy in my life.  In someways I have my old job in Oregon to thank they did me a favor by letting me go.  All they did was tell me to leave and gave me my last paycheck.  So a great big thank you Community Access Services!  I want to just stay in the healthcare field because there are not enough people who value disabled people in this world.  I’m not taking care of these people to reward my life and I’m not going to pity them either.  They are human beings just like everybody else in this world.  Everything happens for a purpose in life.  I guess the people who don’t value people like that are arrogant and only think about themselves or they’re scared of them.  I don’t know I can’t judge them and they can’t judge a person who is non verbal either.  The people that took care of disabled people down in New Orleans before Katrina hit only grabbed a supply for three days.  They figured it was just another hurricane warning and they would be able to come back, but that wasn’t the case.  Those people didn’t have no group homes to go back to and some care givers left them, but some stayed because they cared in their hearts about who they were taking care of.  To me those are real true hearted heroes!  Well I know I’ll never thank them in person, but I can say thank you and God Bless you on this blog and keep up the good work!  I’m sorry I had nothing to offer for the victims of that awful hurricane in August of 2005.  However I can thank you once again and may the world live as one from John Lennon’s song.
